It’s important to note that whilst this might appear to be a recurring news post for us as a business, the rigorous requirements of this government-backed scheme continue to grow and develop year-on-year, focussing on all successful participants gaining ever-stronger controls to protect themselves against common cyber threats.
Passing the Cyber Essentials assessment results in AGS being better placed to protect and secure not only our own systems, but also any client information which we may hold, making the accreditation a common requirement when tendering or bidding for contracts.
Throughout each year our IT team undertake an on-going and thorough review of our systems, ensuring that robust defences are in place to detect activities such as phishing, malware, viruses, hacking etc, along with mobile device management.
