We have recently joined the growing number of businesses supporting the Rail Safe Friendly initiative, becoming the 100th Partner company.
Aimed at keeping young people safe from harm around the railways, the Rail Safe Friendly programme works with partners like AGS to deliver rail safety content to schools, either digitally or in the classroom/assembly hall, to educate about the very real dangers which exist around railways. We will be sponsoring this activity with selected schools.
Schools achieve bronze, silver or gold status on completion of a range of activities from attending and feeding back on the broadcast to communicating with parents and carers about the scheme, and actively promoting the scheme within the school and on their social media channels.
As a key proportion of our work is based on and around the UK rail network, we are delighted to be able to support this important scheme. We believe that education is crucial and any lives saved through raising the profile of rail safety can only be positive.
James Waller, Managing Director of AGS One, said:
“We are incredibly proud to become the 100th partner of the Rail Safe Friendly programme. At AGS One, safety is at the core of what we do, and joining this initiative further demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that the younger generation understands the dangers associated with railways. By partnering with Rail Safe Friendly, we aim to make a difference in the lives of school children and contribute towards reducing railway trespassing incidents.”
